Question:

What can I do in central London?

On Wednesday I'm going to meet a friend at St Pancras International station in London. We're going to spend the day looking around, but our money is limited to perhaps buying lunch. We don't have bus passes or anything like that.

What can we do? I know of all the places like Trafalgar Square and Regents Park, but I don't know where they are in relation to the station, and since we're on foot, how far away they are...

Can anyone help? Or at least supply some kind of online guide?

  2. http://www.visitlondon.com/

Check out this website.  Its got a lot of good basic information on sites, transports, maps, events, etc.  St Pancras is next door to Kings Cross station. There are several relatively inexpensive restaurants and cafes very near the station.

Also check out this site http://www.quickmap.com/walk2learn.htm

It has information on traveling around London on foot.
