  1. well.....your thinking ahead, that's cool.

well. your in middle school (7th grade) not much of connection yet to college. Right now, don't focus on college. Focus on High school.

you're going to need to get into one of the BEST high schools you possibly can. After getting into that high school, then focus on college. Focus attention on high school for now. Trust me. Colleges don't look at middle school, they look at high School. Only High schools look at middle school. You have to impress them first before you can impress colleges. So keep your grades as high as you can, take good notes, start making a portfolio. get into extra curricular programs because that helps with high school and college. Also start finding your craft, a hobby, and if you want, you can start going to programs that test you with school work. Try your best to get into advanced placement (AP) and honors classes when in high school find your talent even if it's sports and stick to it. And don't forget. Most important......maintain high grades. GOOD LUCK

  2. you need to join a sport or play an instrument or join a volunteer group or do something and stick with it through high school.  Extra curricular activities are very important in applying for colleges in addition to getting good grades.

Make sure that you have good grades in middle school and in the beginning of high school so that you can be in the advanced classes that filter into AP or IB classes when you are in high school.

  3. Colleges don't look at middle school grades. Keep your grades up and develop good study habits, so you can get into honors courses in high school. Participate in extracurriculars, clubs, sports, volunteer work, etc. I should warn you though; getting into an Ivy or Ivy caliber school tends to be a c**p shoot now a days. I've known many brilliant students who've been rejected. Keep an open mind, or you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment. because there are many other amazing schools out there

  4. I would advise taking a foreign language.  When I was in middle school, all the smartest kids took a foreign language.

It's not that doing so will directly affect college.  But it will be easier for you when you do foreign language in high school (which is what is important, as another person said).
