What can I do now to reach my life goal?

I'm female, 13, and very outgoing. My dream is to be on television. Ever since I was a little girl. My dream career is to be a tv show host. I'm thinking about studying broadcasting. What is the best and cheapest college to do that? (I live in WA.) What steps can I take now (starting in 8th grade) to reach my career goal?

Go into journalism when you're in high school, be involved in the paper or yearbook. See if you can get a scholarship based on that, a lot of colleges that are heavily into journalism and broadcasting will be more interested in you if you can get a journalism scholarship and were in journalism since middle or high school.
