  1. I remember my mom taking me to waLmart and buying me a solid white tee shirt to decorate on. she bought paint and jewels and stencils. It was fun and they will wear it cause they made it.

  2. First of all you could to any Dollar General or Dollar Tree, and get little Bible books and read them to them, and all the while showing them the pictures,or you could go to the stor and get long sheets of plastic, buy finger paint that washes off with soap and water, get a kit of finger-painting (that has the paper, paint, etc. altogether), lay out the plastic, you open the paint, get your 5 yr.old to put out 4 pieces of paper all on the plastic, like in a circle, or square, you stir up the paint, put it on the plastic tell the childern you would like if they painted you apicture  and to make it as colorful as they could, and they are going to paint one with them, there's no mess really mom, because it all cleans up with warm soapy water, and tell them you are going to wait till they dry and you're going to hang them up, so everyone can see.Mam, just thank God for giving you 3 beautiful gifts that you can enjoy!Happy Painting!

  3. Bowling.... Swimming. Play outside in the yard. I need some ideas too. We usually just load up the stroller and walk around the neighborhood. Or walk through the park and let them stop and play every so often..

  4. What about duck pin bowling? Mini golf? Lazer tag (they may be a little young)? Ice skating? Roller skating/blading? Going out for some ice cream? Carnival/amusement park? Family game night? Swimming?

    Hope I helped.

  5. Indoor camping.

Have baths about 6pm and get the PJ's on all of you, get the popcorn out and put your favourite Disney movie on (groan, I know, you end up singing lion king songs all the next day) and watch the movie then tell some stories with your flashlights on and then go to sleep in sleeping bags. If you don't have sleeping bags, bring the bed stuff down. It's all good.

My five year old loves camping on the floor. I even made a pretend campfire for us to sit round, I made it out of sticks and little logs and paper flames and put a flashing red light and a flashing yellow light in so it glows...actually, I love it as much as he does.

  6. Have you tried bowling?

    Mini putt putt.

    Skating rink.

    an arcade.

Just playing games in the backyard is fun.

Family nights where you play board games.

  7. pajama party - the family plays games together, watches movies, has snacks, etc.  all in your pajamas of course.

camp out - in your backyard.  tents, sleeping bags, fit pit (Christmas tree shops had one for $19.99) to roast marshmallow, hot dogs, etc.  all the fun without the hassle

check out local activities like fireworks, drive in movie, movie on the beach, etc

If you have the budget, you can buy one of those movie projectors and watch your movies outside.

Invite some friends and it'll be a big treat.

  8. go fishing

    go swimming

go to a museum in your area

    go to the zoo

  9. Last week my kids and I went to a play ground that has a large paved area. The kids decided to make a giantic hopscotch! there has to be like 70 squares and they made up their own rules. I love to have them make up their own games and then play them with them. It is very fun.
