I have one week off at the end of August. I don't have a lot of money to spend, and would welcome inexpensive, creative ways to get out of the city and have a good time.

What would you suggest?

  1. grab a tent, food, a bicycle and a good friend and hit the road...dont forget the beer and the marshmallows!!! :)

  2. Depends on where you live and what you like to do.  Most big cities have free museums and walking tours.  Most night clubs don't require a fee and you can hang out and have fun without spending money.  Public gardens are fun, bring a picnic and a good book and chill. Federal and state parks are free and fun to explore too.

  3. If you want to stay cheap, you can go stay with a friend in some town off in the distance. You could go camping, campgrounds are normally inexpensive. If you have family in the area, you could go pay them a visit.

If you aren't feeling like traveling, just stay home, watch some movies and find a good book to read.

  4. hilton resort, if you on the east coast Washington D.C., if you are on the west coast knotsberry farm or yellowstone national park
