  1. Turn off you computer.  There is nothing 'necessary' about you playing on this forum.

That in its self, shows you are not serious.

  2. you could start by doing the simplest things around the house.

for example, unplug your charger from the outlet when your phone isnt being charged (if it remains plugged in without the phone it still uses 95% of the energy). Make sure you turn off all of the lights when you are leaving, and in the summer when its nice out, open  your shades to let the natural light in rather than using the synthetic. You could also shorten your shower time and whatnot.... just start out simple.

  3. 1. use biodiesel (on your diesel car, generator,...)

    2. don't use too much electricity. use it as long as you need it.

    3. never cut down the trees.

    4. plant more trees

    5. use air conditioner as long as you need them.

    6. NEVER USE bromomethane /  methyl bromide

    7. DON'T USE chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) TOO MUCH!!! for your air conditioners only!!!

and many other things i can't say here. there is too much.

    SAVE OUR EARTH!!!!

  4. well u can use less electricity, car pool, keep ur car in good running condition(including inflating ur tyres properly, because this ensures u waste less gas) use less water, avoid burning stuff, use the air conditioner less, turn off the lights, energy saving bulbs etc..there are a few more ways i guess(even the food u eat affects ur carbon footprint, and if im not mistaken eating meat, esp beef isnt too good) but i hope this helps u abit =)

  5. Here are more that are not already listed;

I believe you can contact you energy provider and they will come and evaluate your home and give you lots of ideas, I am pretty sure some companys do this for free...

the less that your hot water heater has to work the better,

buy water savers (lower gallon per minute) for your sink and showers, if possible lower the temp. on water heater elements , and when in the shower while soaping up shut off the water , same when your doing dishes,  when doing the laundry do full loads and if possible hang your clothes to dry.

be sure your dryer vent is cleared once a year (it works quicker if the moist air escapes easier), also cleck to see if your clothes are dry prior to the timer telling you .

also close your blinds & change your A/C filter frequently.

  6. For electricity as your bulbs burn out replace them with energy saver type, add more insulation around the base of you home and heating/cooling ducts.  I did this over the last year and I can see over a 10% savings in $$, even though our rates have gone up, when I compare the sames months bill to the previous years bill.

  7. bring your own bags to the grocery store, made of cloth or hemp.  change your light bulbs to compact fluorescent bulbs.  pull out plugs that aren't being used like cell phone chargers, curling irons, stereos.  even when things aren't turned on they still suck electricity through the wires.  you could purchase a more energy efficient car.  this is all a start.  check out thedailygreen website for more ways to be green.

  9. Plant trees. :D eat less red meat. compost your biodegradable waste products and use them to plant vegetables on your backyard. conserve water!! lessen the use of plastic/plastic bottles, and the like. or you can use biodegradable plastics if you really have to use plastic. buy organic food/ food products. if your to a store or grocery near your house, just walk instead of using the car. stop buying endangered animal products, ex: skins, furs, etc.

everything you do is a choice. in your own little ways you can save the world. :)
