I plan on losing weight and I am 29 years old. I weigh around 100kilos. I need to lose around 30 kilos (66lbs). The only thing I am worried about, is skin sagging on my tummy, thighs, arms. Please help, as I don't want to have to go through surgery......and most likely I won't if it does. Anyway, I would really like to avoid the sagging! Serious answers please.

  1. I found this on this website. There are more tips and info.

    1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.

    2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.

    3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.

    4. Don't weigh yourself more than once a week

    5. Take starting measurements as well as weight - sometimes you'll lose inches before pounds

    6. Avoid any type of "low carb" sweetener for the first two weeks

    7. Don't compare your loss to someone else's - this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)

    8. Stalls are common around the third week so don't panic

    9. If you follow your plan to the T and don't lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese, mushrooms and any other fermented food

    10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison

    11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts - make sure your doctor knows that you're doing low carb and when you started

    12. Don't blame the diet if you don't read your plan book -- blame the diet if you don't read the labels -- Don't blame the diet if you don't follow the diet

  2. It seems the best is gradual weight loss and body toning with exercise see article

  3. i dont know but im currious to know now

  4. While there's no guarantee that your skin won't sag, but if you take it slow, at your age, your skin will probably be very forgiving.

Get walking to start off with.  Just walk 6 days out of 7 for 45 minutes to 1 hour at whatever pace you can manage and get faster over time.

Really push yourself only when you start to feel fit.

After around 6 months, you might like to add in some resistance training for body shaping, but walking will slim you down and tone you up so long as you combine it with a good healthy diet.

  5. Sagging skin is basically leftover fat!Need not worry Dear, you shoudnt lose more than 3 lbs per week.Change your lifestyle for life. Do cardio and toning exercises in moderation 5 days a week and calorie shift your meals by eating 5 small healthy meals a day, drink only water. 2 or 3 cheat meals a week is fine. In the process of losing body fat your weight might go up once in a while since the body may actually load on a pound or 2 of muscle mass in order to shed fat effectively.Remember that its OK to be overweight with lots of muscle(although its just not attractive)but NOT fat.God bless you and I hope you lose that 30 kg within the next 8 months.
