I was pulled over for this charge october of last year-10 months have passed by and I have not been in trouble since-however did test positive for cocaine on a drug test.I am enrolled in school and have a 4 yr. old son-I made a dumb mistake for taking a party out of hand but dont want this to affect me my whole life.Probation is an option I would like to consider. However a jail sentence is what I am afraid of.What can I do to prove my case to the judge.

  1. get your self prego and once it passes by get a abortion

  2. its already affected your life, like it or not.anyway, not much you can do  about jail, except serve your sentence, and keep your mouth shut while doing so.serve 75% of your sentence without any trouble, and youre home, its that simple.whatever you do,show respect to all officers of the court,it will help you in the long run.

  3. well of course, you can evade arrest again.

  4. You need to speak with a Lawyer. Yeah, I KNOW they're expensive...-But the Cost will do a heck of alot LESS Damage to your Life, than going to Jail will... And do it SOON; or you're Next Speeding Ticket could be your LAST- for a very LONG Time !!!  :0

  5. You should have enrolled in a drug prevention program. You have to show the judge that you have sincerely taken steps to correct your drug problem.

  6. Sounds to me like someone is not wanting to face the punishment for their actions.

  7. Too late. This has already affected your whole life, and will follow you for the rest of it. Evading AND a dirty drug test? That will not bode well on any pre-employment background check. As far as "proving your case to the judge", you HAVE no case to "prove". And the judge knows that.

I was pulled over for this charge october of last year-

You were NOT pulled over for evading arrest.  You were CHARGED with this because you didn't stop when the officers tried to pull you over.  It sounds like you were pulled over for driving under the influence of cocaine.  This BETTER effect your whole life.  If it doesn't, you will eventually make the news for the 'dumb mistake' that KILLS you.
