What can I do to celebrate my wife's and I second year wedding anniversary i HAVE A $500 BUDGET

I wanted to take her in a nice sunset helicopter ride here in Los Angeles with dinner but it is about $900. I know I don't have to spend that much to make her feel loved. As it is we are going to Cabo San Lucas to an all inclusive resort hotel for 7 days. So what can I do for day?

what about driving up to vegas and try to make some money to spend in Cabo San Lucas! just kidding... kind of.

Since you are already having an anniversary holiday , perhaps you should do something simpler yet meaningful such as waking up early, cook her favorite breakfast and take it to bed? in case its on a working day and have no time, you might send some flowers to her work with a "treasure map"... its up to you how to make it, u can leave hints leading to a small gift --a vintage ring u know she'll like, maybe at the end she'll get to a lake in the park where u can hire a boat for an hour and spend a while there, then go back home, put some bubbles in the bath, toast with champagne for two wonderful years and then get kinky...

ps! I live in Cabo san lucas... wonderful spot for an anniversary holiday. make sure you visit the Arch during the sunset. and visit the hotel California (the one that inspired the Eagles' song) in Todosantos, about 40 min from Cabo San Lucas...

Think back to when you were dating what kinds of things did she enjoy back then that you don't do very often anymore? You could do some of the things you did when you were younger that were romantic and she would love it.

Arrange to have rose petals strewn about the room and on the bed. Light some scented candles for romantic lighting. Have strawberries on the table with chocolate for dipping.  Give her a loooong back rub or a foot rub with baby oil (lotion gets cold and sticky) or other perfumed oil.

I agree with the Spa idea. Spend the money on a nice, romantic couple's spa day. See if the hotel offer's any couple's spa packages, with champagne, and stuff like that...

OMG, what will you do for your 5th or 10th or 20th anniversary?  the second is not THAT special.  Save your money for a more meaningful year, and just take her out to a really nice restaurant in LA, exchange gifts, then go home and do the naughty

well add on something when you are away like a boat trip or shopping trip, something she would really love to do!  Maybe upgrade to first class or have a surprise waiting in the room
