Is there some kind of device one could attach to it? My faucets are the kinds seen in Science/ Chemistry labs.

  1. isn't that what the handles are there for? and if you're just trying to stop the students from turning them on full blast, i guess you could try to limit the water flow coming in from underneath the sink

  2. There should have another valve just below the sink and another main valve outside the room.

Adjust the valve till the pressure is OK.

  3. turn it off

  4. Working as a custodian in a school district myself. Either the head custodian or the custodian that cleans your classroom should have a key to your faucet underneath to reduce the pressure. Just e-mail your head custodian or leave a note for the custodian to take a look at it?

  5. Have you tried energy efficient faucet attachments?

  6. Probably nothing you can do.  Look under the cabinet, and see if the shut off valve below is open all the way.  If there is a screen at the end of the faucet, use pliers and remove it, see if that is clogged or has an obstruction.  Other than that nothing.

  7. tell the janitor they can fix it probly thats what their there for

  8. close the valve under the counter

  9. I am not aware of this faucet, but there are reducers or screens for most taps.

  10. You should be able to s***w in a water saving aerator that will both cut down on the pressure and also make it come out less messy. IF your faucet is not threaded for that, you might try disassembling your faucet and introduce a disk with a small hole (water saving device) in the base of the faucet. If you have to do that however, you will need to turn off the water at the source first.

These are items you should be able to pick up at Ace Hardware or Home Depot (if you can find anything or get any help there.)

  11. It's the nozzles. I'm a student and my schools are like that. You would have to get the schools permission to change the nozzle type. It happens because water is concentrated so small so it can fit into the test tube and small opening. This makes a strong pressure build up rather than a normal sink
