Question:

What can I do to fall asleep?

Lately I've been falling asleep between 4 and 6:30 a.m. I'm just not tired. I wind up with very little sleep because of it. Any SERIOUS suggestions or ideas are welcome. I need to sleep.

  1. Had the same problem once...What I found to work best is a hot tea thats specially made to make you fall asleep, they sell it in any major grocery store. Good Luck.


  2. If you need to sleep know go down to your local drug store/ chemist and buy an antihistamine that has a sedative effect. Diphenhydramine is the most common, you'll find it in nytol, night nurse etc.  Take the recommended dosage and you'll be out like a light for a good 12hrs. This is just a quick fix and you don't want to be using it often. For a more permanent fix try melatonin tablets. It won't have the potency of a diphenhydramine containing product or work instantly but in theory it is meant to set your circadian rhythm, so if you take it consistently every night eventually you should be falling be asleep 30 minutes after dosing.

    You don't need a prescription for a diphenhydramine containing product, but always use responsible! Hope this helps

  3. well since you have been wacking up late

    wake up at a normal hour one day

    and then don't take a nape or anything

    so them you will be tied and have to go to bed eairly

    because of lacek of sleep

    but this is my most recomended way

    there are other choises

    such as taking pills

    and mushrooms [the food]

    make yousleepy

    you mighthink thats whack

    but it's realy true


  4. - dont do exercise anytime near the time you want to go to bed

    - get a routine back into action

    - go into bed at the same time every night

    - dont have coffee or soft drink etc in the afternoon

    - dim the lights an hour befroe you want to sleep.

    at loast resort, maybe sleeping tablets?

  5. Well it could probably be because your schedule is out of whack. How are your sleeping conditions? Are they quiet and comfortable? More information would be nice.

  6. make yourself really tired. What i like to do is take a nice jog an hour before i go to bed.  also you can try turning on the tv and watch paid programming they are there for a reason lol and if all fails read a book. :]]] GOOD luck and goodnight,.  

  7. Try to bathe in a warm bath, go straight to bed after wards, drink warm milk with honey and read a book/magazine. Do not watch tv as this keeps your brain stimulated and you will not get sleepy.
