  1. Bonjour, take a very large glass of vin rouge outside (if the weather permits) and sip for 3 hours whilst watching the world go by.  Nip in and out occasionally to check on the garlic snails that are cooking in the oven and cut yourself a hunk of cheese and french stick.  When all the snails have been eaten and you have finished your vin rouge, bread and cheese, get on your bike with your onion rope around your neck, stick on a beret and leisurely cycle around the busiest part of your city/town, weaving in and out of very loud peeping cars.  There you go.... A perfect day in Paris.  I love Paris by the way... Its beautiful, romantic, the food is awesome and the french people... well Ooo lala xx

  2. gosh, as much as I love Paris I'm almost a blank on this one.

    -wear a beret

    -have some Bourdeaux wine

-find a place with a lot of "circles" to drive around, like in Paris

-take a cruise down your neighborhood canal

  3. Vidio youself and release it onto the interneet and say your were drunk.

  4. You could have a picnic of baguette, brie cheese, salami and a nice bottle of wine. Sit on a park bench or go to an outdoor cafe, order an espresso and people watch. Or, invite friends over for cheese fondu with meat and bread, and a nice bottle of red wine. I used to live in Paris and there are many days I wish I could go back or feel like I'm in Paris just for a day.

  5. drink some coffee..eat some baguette..listen to some french movies

  6. Well, interesting idea, let's see if a French guy can help you out on this.....

First of all, you need to relax!

In the morning, just a little coffee and French bread will do it, we dont have much in the morning.

In the afternoon, during weekdays, we have approx 1hr lunch, over the weekend, lunch and dinner are the most important meals of the day.

    Dinner, usualy at about 7pm

Play a nice little cd (like Jacque Brel, even though from Belgium, he sings in French, Jean Jacques Goldman, Francis Cabrel, etc...) or go on the internet and play a French radio live (www.rfm.fr, www.europe2.fr, nrj.fr, topmusic.fr, etc...).  This should do it for the back ground.

Pour yourself a nice glass of wine (red wine - room temperature or white wine -chilled), and sit down on your sofa.  Close your eyes........YOU ARE IN PARIS!!!!!!

To keep it up the rest of the day, try to cook someting typical, like crepes (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Basic-Crepe... or somethin really simple like a tartine (take a piece of French bread, put some tomatoes on it, a little bit of cheese, right into the over until the cheese melts and Bon Appetit!!), or anything you may feel like cooking.

Then, at 8pm French time (2pm EST, 1pm CST, 12pm MST, 11am PST) click on www.tf1.fr or www.france2.fr and watch the 8 o'clock news.  Most French people watch them either on TF1 (private channel) or France 2 (state owned).

There you go, hope this would have helped you a little having a French atmosphere going on around you.

Thank you for thinking about having a French day....it really pleases me to know that a lot of Americans like my country as much as I like yours!!!!!

    4. Go to a French restaurant

    5. Pick up something written by Jean-Paul Sartre

    6. Take a walk through whatever city you live in and pretend it's Paris

    7. Pick up a French movie (Anything by Truffaut is good)
