When you are talking about access, there are a couple of things. First, the only wireless provider that does not put your cell phone number in a database for others to search by name, address, etc.. is Verizon Wireless, the other wireless carriers you must call and opt-out of their databases. This should stop future calls - although, it is still illegal for telemarketers to call any cell phone on a automated dialer so usually it is a business contact or someone just has the wrong number. If you think someone has your phone number - you can't do anything except call your wireless carrier and block the incoming number.
