i live outside the boundaries of the school district i am attending. Even though i live in the same city as the school i am in, they are forcing me to go to a school in a neighboring city. Well i got my transfer through but the bus would not pick me up, but i absolutley need it because my parents cant drop me off in the mornings. what can i do to force the district to let me go on the bus?

  1. talk to the head of the district and tell him all that you can...but really they already made an acception by letting you transfer.....

  2. Honestly, there's not much that you can do.  They are not obligated to provide transportation to students who live outside of the boundaries of the school district.  When I was in elementary school, I had the same problem, and my parents had to drive me to school very early.  You may be able to carpool with someone else.  Another option is to have your parents drop you off at the nearest bus stop for your school, if possible.  If you must, public transportation may be the only option.
