I am looking at spending nearly $7,500 on medical and dental expenses. I have tried applying for Medi-Cal, and I do not qualify. I cannot get CMSP because I am not 21 yet. I live with my dad and I am 20 years old with low income and no assets except my truck. Are there any other ways of getting cash aid and medical/dental financial assistance?

  1. Yes, get a second job.  It shouldn't be hard to save up that amount in under six months.

  2. I'm in the same type of boat as U R. I work for Kroger Supermarkets in Tucson,AZ. I've been working for them for 6 months, and due to the union contract;i still have to wait another 6 months before I'm eligible for benefits. Good Luck! I wish U well.

  3. I have an idea, since you are young, get a job with insurance!!!!!! or suffer like I do because I can't find a job since I am over 40!
