I really want to get involved with the presidential elections, but I'm not old enough to vote. What else can I do?

  1. stuff envelopes and make phone calls

    pass out flyers

That's what I did back when

  2. Contact the organization of the person(s) you wish to support.  I have seen this pay off greatly.  I am 41,now.  When I was a teenager, I often worked for candidates.  I would be at the polling place handing out push cards for my candidate.

In 1980, my candidate gathered 80 votes over the average democrat in my precinct.  He won by 40 votes.

I knew a state rep from a nearby district who lost an election by one vote.  One more volunteer would have made the difference.

The rewards are great for participating.  I know people all through the government.  If I call, they know who I am.

The same could be true for you, too.

  3. Volunteer on a campaign, or for your local party office.

  4. Go to the campaign office of the person you'd like to support, and ask!  There is a lot of work to be done right now, and they need people for making phone calls, mailings, etc.

  5. Well you can go out and help your parent's or friend's, or friend's of your parent's hand out information about the candidate that you support. I am going to do that with my family to promote Ron Paul for 08.
