The worksheet on page 2 will help you calculate the correct numbers to use.

Claim more allowances on your W-4, and they'll take out less.  Be careful not to claim so many that you end up owing.  For each $500 you got in your refund, you can probably safely add one allowance unless you make a lot of money.
