What can I do to get my money back?

I ORDER AN AUTO PART IN THE INTERNET AND PAYED FOR IT WITH MY CHECKINGS. THE PART NEVER GO DELIVER AND THEY DON'T ANSWER THERE PHONE OR E-MAIL. IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS. HOW CAN I GET MY MONEY BACK?

  1. Contact your bank and dispute the charge. If you do online banking and can pull your history that far back, you can dispute the charge online yourself. I dunno if checking accounts disputes work the same as credit card where they will put that money back into your account until the vendor can proove the part was delivered.


  2. Is the company registered with the Better Business Bureau. If they are, file a complaint with them, contact your bank, and contact your district attorney's office for possible collection of the funds.
