What can I do to get my son back with me before the court date??

I am going to court with my x-gf who gave birth to our son. My court date is not until Sept. 16, that is one month away. My son is only 5months old and I don't want to miss out on his infancy any more. I want to be able to be with him, but she is keeping him from and has for already 3 weeks.

Like I said, court is set for another month and I been wanting to see him, but she ignores my calls, and just texts me "See you in court." I can't believe she is doing this to me, and I just want to be with my son.

Is there anything I can do??? I don't know what to do, I don't have an attorney because I can't afford one, but did all the paper work on my own.

Okay, i'm going to tell you this one thing:  Get an ATTORNEY.  You can find FREE legal aid, by contacting a local Legal Aid Services office.  If you qualify, they will get you FREE legal help.  

I am not an attorney; I just went through a divorce, and thought that I could handle it all at first.  YOU CAN'T, and that's why you need an answer to this question.  From one guy to another: Get an attorney, dude.  Contact Legal Aid Services; each state has one.

The court can appoint you attorney and if it won't there are many services who help men in exactly your situation. tell me your location if you want me to find the services for you otherwise do some research. I know you can get an attorney though and it will make a huge difference.I know this becuase I am an attorney.
