I was told to give her a bath in blue dawn and i'm pretty sure that is okay but what can I do in terms of keeping them gone? like a flea collar or some kind of treatment? she is a mini-lop about 7 lbs.

  1. put garlic powder or anything garlic in its food fleas hate garlic , it gets in there skin and they taste it..

  2. You can use Advantage on rabbits, you can't use frontline as the active ingredient, Fipronil, can be deadly to rabbits..

Advantage seems to work really well though, that's what I've been using on mine this season. It works a lot better then just flea combing and bathing which is what I did last year..

You can use the cat sized dose if she weighs 7 lbs.. Any less then that and you have to reduce it a bit..

  3. Go to your vet.  They can give your rabbit ivermectin.  It is a medication that will keep fleas and other parasites off your rabbit for about an entire month.  It is the active ingredient in a number of those types of medications.  The right dosage needs to be given to your rabbit though, so see your vet.

  4. You can get drop ons for rabbits.

You can get it from Pets At Home in the UK, but I'm not sure where from in the USA.

They are very effective but you need to get them in person (not online) to double check how many drop on things you'll actually need. Most likely, since she's a small rabbit, you'll just need one, but better to check.
