I got some water in my ear yesterday when I took a shower and now it feels like there is an echo. I think my ear needs to pop. I don't hear the water in my ear though. I put in some drops but that didn't help. What else can I do? it doesn't really hurt its just annoying. Thanks!

  1. What I usually do is tilt my head to whatever side the ear with water in it is. Then I jump up and down until the water is out.

Sounds sorta stupid, but it always works for me!

    **have a sparkling day**

  2. You know, you might have an ear infection, but what helps me get rid of the water in my ear is I turn my head sideways and go up and down to get the water out. Also, I turn my head to the right, and slap the left side of my head with my hand, so the water can come out. Or, if you want to try something else that i do, I close my mouth, and blow up air on the inside of my mouth, and hold my nose, so that my ears pop, it really does work, and I hope it helps you! Hope your ear feels better!!

  3. a mixture of vinegar and rubbing alcohol. it drys out the water.

  4. put rubbing alcohol on a Q tip and rub your ear, it will dry it out...otherwise you could get swimmers ear.

  5. Take the thing you clean your ears with a q tip and dip it in oil and put it in your ear and clean it. That should work it works when every i get water in my ear.

  6. rubbing a bit of olive oil in side your ear with a cotton bud stick could help get it out but im not sure if this will work with water. good luck!

  7. stick your fingers in your ears like your ignoring someone. hold for 10 secs and pull out quickly

  8. make a solution of 1/2 apple cider vinegar and 1/2 rubbing alcohol and add a few drops in your ear. it will dry it out.

  9. i tip my head on the side and tap my head. lol sounds weird works for me!

  10. Everyone seems to have a different solution. One friend of mine swore that a cap of hydrogen peroxide in the ear would do the trick. But for me, quickly snapping my head to the left or right always dislodges any trapped water. If you're going to try that, make sure not to do it in public though, unless you don't mind odd stares.
