I have a friend of mine, with whom I have been friends for six years. A year ago I moved to a different city, and we haven't seen each other since. We want to hang out sometime soon before school starts, but we can't like go see a movie, because I have a boyfriend and that wouldn't be right. What else can we do to hang out?

P.S. I live in Frisco and he lives in Plano. Anything around that area (including Mckinney, etc)

  1. Well, if you want a drive, you could always go visit the art museums down in downtown (I suggest Nasher Sculpture Garden), that's a very friendly environment. Or if you're more into the music scene, you could check out The Door or The Gypsy Tea Room (depending on how old you are), they usually have pretty decent local bands playing.

    Good luck!

  2. I'm really sorry -- I just didn't see anything wrong with a movie.

You could  go watch  Frisco's baseball team play.

You could go to the swimming pool.

You could go play a game of tennis.

    You could go to lunch.

You could go to the rec center and find something to do.

Go get a Big Gulp and go to the park and catch up on things.

  3. If your boyfriend doesn't trust you, it's time to get a new boyfriend.  There is nothing wrong with going to a movie with your guy friend, I do it all the time.  My bf knows I have a guy friend, he knows I go watch TV at his place, he knows we go to movies, and he trusts me and is not bothered by it.

Other than movies and roaming around the mall, there's not much else to do since it's so hot outside now.  You could go swimming or go to that water park in The Colony (on 121), but then you would be in a swim suit and I'm sure bf would have a cow over that.  Then again, there's the crypto thing going around, so maybe that's not such a good idea.  Go ice skating at Galleria.  Go roller skating.  Go bowling. Get some DVD's and watch them at home, but then bf would think you're going to make out on the couch.

  4. if you love your boyfriend, stay away from your "guy friend"  because he wants to be more than friends.  Guys don't have friends that are girls unless they are attracted to them romantically.  (unless they're g*y).

    All guys are like this.
