Question:

What can I do to help my p***s from swelling?

I tried to m********e with this coconut shampoo, but my p***s started to burn so I quickly stopped. About an hour later I looked at my p***s and the part of the shaft behind the p***s was really swollen and red. I figured it was allergies so I put some ice on it and took Benadryl. It has been about two days and the swelling has gone down, but not all the way. It was also stopped hurting. Is there anything I can do to make sure it goes completely back to normal?

  1. Yes you can try to put some Aloe Vera lotion on it

This combined with Tripple Anit Biotic and

Neosporin with also relive any pain associated with the allergic reaction

Your health care provide may also recommend you apply some topical steroids aswell

  2. Since the swelling has gone down and it doesn't hurt, it should go back to normal in a few days.  See the doctor if it stays irritated, and don't be embarrassed ... they've heard it all before.

Let this be a lesson to you.  Don't m********e with soaps, shampoos and other things that can irritate you.  Any food item that doesn't contain spices or peppers is safe, as are a number of gentle moisturizers or personal lubricants available at your local market.  Your p***s is delicate, treat it with care.

  3. it will go back to normal over time

  4. Never use soap or shampoo again you had an allergic reaction.Better use baby oil body lotion or hand lotion.

And take an anti allergy tablet:then the swelling will go down.

    Space

  5. I had the same problem with IRISH SPRING soap.  Give it a few more days and if it does not disappear, go see a Urologist.

Believe me, urologists have 'seen it all' and your problem will NOT surprise him not will he scold you, since all guys m********e.  The ones who do not are either impotent or untruthful -- neither of which are characteristics you desire to have.

In future, try using Johnson's baby oil.  Great for a sensitive p***s.

  6. Try some Hydrocortizone ointment.  It'll help with the swelling and any itching or irritation.

  7. If you had eaten something that caused the same effect with your tongue, and it hadn't gone back in days, would you see a doctor?  I would.

It's worth the peace of mind to have a professional make advice.  Take the product with you, to see if the doctor can recognize what might have caused this to happen.  You'll want to avoid this in other products, right?

If you don't take advantage of learning this time, it could happen again.  It's just as well to talk to the doc, and find out what's irritating your skin.

A physical is a good way to get this issue raised.  Make a list of questions you want the doctor to specifically address, and then you'll be organized and calm.

It'll work out fine, and you'll feel good knowing that a pro has checked everything out, and how to avoid this in the future.

There are lots of questions on here of a medical nature, and lots of responses by people who don't have medical backgrounds.  I'd be careful following advice of anyone who is speculating.  Get the real facts from a professional clinician.  It's worth the money to do it right.

  8. Yes lots of these shampoos etc can react quite badly with skin in a sensitive area . It will eventually go away , just keep bathing the area in warm water when you shower and only use a shower gel for sensitive skin type

  9. Well for sure don't use that shampoo again.

Try to leave it alone and see if it is okay after a little while longer.

You can attempt to m********e again later and see if it hurts to try.

If it does, see a doctor - don't feel embarrassed - doctors understand.
