  1. Well you can car share or take a bus.

Also I recommend walking if you just need to go up the street.

Then you can (if you and your parents have a big yard and money) plant some trees and plants.

You may also want to consider recycling as much as possible; find a place that will take your recycled goods and use them.

Try to cut down on using  a lot of sprays and cleaning items. (I know it sounds hard but you could give it a try)

Last if you can try and join a group that is for restoring the forests and animals that inhabit it (I get news letters from the Defenders Of Wildlife)

  2. -Reuse, Renew, Recycle

    -Public Transport

    -Reusable Shopping Bags

-Lights off during the day and when nobody's awake

-Turn Electrical apliences off @ the point

    -Plant Trees

    -Use renewable energy

-You really should know this stuff

You could really get involved by spreading the word, joining groups, make sure your home is 6star energy rated, and being just plain earth smart!

  3. Take public transportation,

Use reuseable shopping bags instead of plastic bags,

    recycle glass, plastic and cans,

    recycle paper,

keep your car in good running order,

  4. Cooking,,, no more gas cylinder , better fire wood,  clean cheaper.

  5. Uh, since the earth is getting cooler I wouldn't worry about it.

  6. * The origins of the modern liberal environmental movement in the campaign to ban DDT -- that led to the resurgence of malaria in the poorest countries, with devastatingly fatal consequences

    * The government-dictated preference for corn-based ethanol and other biofuels is causing massive land overuse, soaring food prices, and increased hunger in the poorest places

    * A single SUV tank of ethanol-based gasoline burns enough food to feed a starving African for a year

    * Hormones from contraceptive and "morning after" pills are literally being flushed into rivers and causing bizarre sexual malformations in fish -- and why, for once, there has been no outcry from liberals

    * Yellowstone in flames: Liberal-inspired management programs in the Forest Service and the National Parks have led to major wildfires — including a near—catastrophic one in the nation's crown jewel, Yellowstone Park

    * Getting the Green: the environmental movement is funded by industries that reap enormous profits from environmental laws and regulations

    * Censorship, manufactured outrage, and even phony "science" are being used to cut short the debate over global warming

  7. Take the bus, me and my parents do that now, if you haev a car you can still use it for if your going to a restraunt, but to work and school you should take the bus, saves you gas and stops poultion!

  8. buy organic food and clothing , carpool promote solar and wind programs

  9. dont pollute

  10. #1 understand what causes it.  Understand for yourself, not because someone else believes it.  Whatever you think causes it, are you convinced that it is true because YOU examined the evidence? (a 'scientific' response)

or do you have faith because others believe it?  (a 'religious' response)

#2 Now that you know from your own research what the cause is, you can determine the proper response.

    #3 Start doing that.

Too many people skip right over step #1.  They believe that because _____ says it, it must be true.  Instead, people should examine the evidence to find a compelling argument.

If you do find a compelling argument, the answer to your question will be obvious to you.  (even if it is different than mine)

In the meantime, no one will argue against using less gas, less electricity, less oil, driving less, traveling less, generally consuming less and recycling more.

  11. How about get the real science, realize that there is no global warming, and no global warming problem, continue to conserve energy as practical but instead of feeling guilty, involving yourself with platitudes that make you feel better but doesn't save the planet and start getting angry at the government for buying into this BS and at the enviormentalists that have created a hoax, raised food prices and energy prices by their interference with the free market.

  12. Stop buying into the notion that you can do anything about it.  However if you want to conserve,  then the ride the bus, plus you will be reducing smog from single occupant cars...

  13. YES, check this out http://www.inventube.com/ooojay/ it will tell you how and where to start to extract the sands of time that man has never touched ever and get a salvage license so you can keep th treasures you find under the sand.

  14. help with global warming?

    buy a hummer.

  15. Not much either way.  Since man made carbon emissions are only about 3 to 4% of the total annually it doesn't make much difference.

Hey good old-fashioned conservation and thrift is great.  I am all for it.  Recycle, get more energy efficient heating and cooling (I did and reduced my electrical useage by about 25% and got a tax credit), car pool, walk, take mass transit, etc.

But do these for the right reasons.

  16. Ride a bicycle instead of a car. Write your local representative and endear him to reduce global warming.

  17. hybrid cars, save water, energy, and anything you could possibly recycle, reuse, or reduce... join different eco friendly clubs, dont litter, and plant a tree... fight global warming... VALESTERS...
