Is there anything I can do right after intercorse that will increase my chances? I know about the pillow under my butt, I was just wondering if there is anything else? Also what's the best position I heard doggy-style or missionary? Finally why is it that some of his seman trinkles its way out when im laying on my back, do I have a tilted uterus? Any suggestions will be a big help we have been trying for sometime now, we went a while doing it the day before I ovulate. This month we are going to try every otherday (which I don't mind one bit..lol ;0),since once a month was getting on my nerves a bit). My next resort will be a trip to obgyn for extra help....fingers crossed

  1. take folic acid,drink green tea,missionary is the best style,take vitamins,lay down at leat 20 mint after s*x,eat healthy,exercise,no stress,no alcohol,

  2. You're right about the pillow thing and if the s***n drips out that's because gravity is working :) LOL  It's totally normal. Missionary is good, or spooning (anything with you underneath). You should be BD daily starting 20 days before your NEXT period until around 12 days before your NEXT period (or 10 days if possible) which is your most fertile time. Try that for 3 months and then consider charting for a few months so you've got something to show the doctor. They'll normally send you away if you're under 30 and haven't been TTC for a year, but taking some charts along will help a  LOT!

  3. The real question here is why would you wanna get pregnant.

    Kids are evil!

  4. I would suggest you buy an ovulation kit at the drug store to help you determine when you are ovulating as this would be the best time.

  5. the swedish helicopter is the best position try and hold the position for half an hour after intercourse.

  6. please dont hold out on s*x until OV because it decreases the quality of sperm massively- latest study shows that if an old sperm happens to be the one out of a million to fertilise the egg even if it does result on pregnancy it will probably result in m/c as it is old and worn out (sounds funny i know but makes sense) your DH needs to ejaculate regularly unless he has a low sperm count to keep up the quality of sperm. As far as seman trickling out dont worry its 100% normal- its not sperm its s***n remember! Positions well its all about gravity and sending them on their way easily.  Good luck and baby dust to us

  7. When your done put your legs in the air to help keep it all in.

  8. We have been trying for 8 months now so I understand your frustration. I think you are doing everything right. Just try to put it out of your mind and enjoy the time with your partner. You are right to head to the obgyn next, which is what we will also be doing soon! Good luck!

  9. If each month, you were only trying once, that was probably the reason you haven't gotten pregnant.  After your period stops, you should have s*x every other day to increase your chances.  I've heard missionary is the best position for conceiving.  If you are worried that you have a tilted uterus, lay on your back for like 2 mins, then lay on your left side, then ride side.  Not sure if it will help, but it'll move the sperm around!!  Goodluck and baby dust to you!!!

  10. I apologize but some of the answers here are just myths and not reality. Lifting your hips up or immediately standing up and start jogging for miles DOES NOT make any difference. I would recommend you read personal path to pregnancy by beth Kiley. Here is the review of this pregnancy focused ebook.
