What can I do to kill the bugs but not my New England Aster Plant?

My New England Aster is being killed by little brown bugs on the underside of the leaves. There are sooo many of them and the leaves are turning brown. I continue to have new growth, but don't want to loose the whole plant and/or the other plants in my garden. Any suggestions?

  1. Ortho Bug B gone Max.  It kills over 100 kinds of insects.  It comes in a red spray bottle or in a concentrate.  It is available at Lowes or Home Depot.  I've used it on my plants and have had success with it.

  2. Make bug juice. Pick off some of the bugs, blend them or mash them with water. Let sit a few hours. Strain and spray on plant. This works with all kind of bugs.

  3. this is good for most pests on your plants.  It is safe for you and the plants.  Fill spritzer bottle with water, add 5 or so good drops of any dish soap, close it up and give it a good shaking before you spray the underside of each leaf.
