What can I do to make my room like new?

Question

I don't want to spend a lot of money or paint. Any DIY projects or just new ways to make it cute?

walls are light yellow and coral

hardwood floors

i'm 15 so some fun projects would be nice

Go to a fabric store and find some remnants of fabric you like, and that goes with the colors of your room.  Get a heavy piece of cardboard, and cut it in any pattern you would like it to be, and cover it with the fabric...wrapping the edges of the fabric on the back of the cardboard, and tape or glue the edges.  These will be so light in weight you won't even have to put a nail in the wall....you can just use some sticky poster putty.  Its a great way to liven up a room without painting...and a very simple, inexpensive way to make huge changes to a room.  Your parents will be glad you're not putting holes in the walls too!  lol  Good luck and most of all........ Lamps are great to decorate fussy sides. Colors that are vibrant. Fuzzy  rugs.
