  1. Try this 1 teaspoonful of iodised salt plus 2 teaspoonful of vinegar in 250 mil's of warm water and gargle 2 or 3 times until the soreness goes.

Keep the mixture and do this several time a day.

The iodine in the salt is an antiseptic.

    GOOD LUCK.

  2. Try honey and lemon.  And look at you local grocery store for hot teas that say something about healing or sore throats on the package.  Chamomile is good.

  3. Aside from going to the doctor, gurgling with lukewarm salt water and honey lemon teas, you might want to try drinking ginger tea. You can make it at home with some ginger root, boil in water until the water turns yellow and the root is cooked. You can add honey or sugar to the tea (throw away the root).

  4. What does being pregnant have to do with having a sore throat?

  5. do NOT use essential oils they can make you miscarriage b/c they soak down into the blood stream!!! i would suggest gargaling warm salt water and drinking camomile tea sweetend with honey- i'm not sure about ginger or green tea, i know that one of them isn't good for you or the baby if you take in to much of it! i would try this for one more day but if it persists or worsens make an appt with you dr!

  6. hot teas are good, most cough drops are just sugar and won't hurt the baby. tylenol is fine to take when you're pregnant if it hurts a lot or you're getting a fever. But you could at least call your doctor I'm sure they have dealt with this before and know best about what is safe for you during pregnancy.

  7. Make a mixture of 1 tsp honey and 1 tsp. apple-cider vinegar.  Take every 2 hours as needed.

  8. If the sore throat is due to a cold virus or allergies it is very helpful to rub your neck with pure essential oil of lavender. Lavender helps to expel exterior heat pathogens. If it is sore from overuse, try slippery elm lozenges.  You should be able to find both at the local health food store, and both strategies are safe for the fetus.
