What can I do to remove the precription drugs in the tap water?

I've heard there has been medications in the tap water because people have been flushing their drugs down the toilet. What can I do to eliminate the medicine?

  1. It is not as big a deal as everyone has been making it.. if you think about it, we are actually drinking dinosaur pee! LOL I know its gross but through the water cycle, it is all recycled. There is not actually medication in the water or else people would be dropping dead like flies. My daughter (who needs a bottle every 3 hrs.) would have major issues. the real problem is that there is extra minerals and vitamins that do not go away and now they are super concentrated. If you are that worried, go to the store and get a water purifier for your faucet, or in a pitcher. they make them in 5 times filtration if you are willing to spend that money. I use pur 3 times filtration and I am perfectly fine.


  2. You might try a reverse osmosis filter.

    Otherwise you'll probably have to purchase a distillery for you tap water.
