Every 10 minutes or so I close my eyes and or I exercise them for about 10 minutes. What else can I do to help? It's really aggravating and hurts a lot.

  1. Get ClearEyes...

  2. close your eyes for a long time, then put cold cucumber on them for like, uhm,,, 2 mins. then, smell coffee beans or crushed coffee beans. since im on Yahoo! ANSWERS often, my eyes hurt from looking at the bright computer screen and TV, so this helps me

  3. Homeopathic eye drops are wonderful. I like Optique by Boiron, which contains Cineraria maritima, Euphrasia officinalis, Calendul officinalis, Kali muriaticum, Calcarea fluorica, Magnesia carbonica and Silicea.

Note, I don't get ANY results from taking homeopathic remedies internally, but this stuff works and I've used 3 brands over the years.

Years ago I was suffering from "dry eye" and my optician recommended artificial tears. They burned my eyes but they worked somewhat. I had to use them every couple of hours. Then I found Boiron Optique 1 at the health food store. These drops don't burn AND they last all day.
