What can I do to stop my headphones from blowing?

MY head phones keep blowing (only one will work and I can't move my ipod or this will happen) is there any way to fix them? My mom said these are the last headphones I can have and I just got them. Are there headphones that don't do this? I have a 2gen. ipod nano.

get better headphones like the in ear ones

You need to get better headphones. The ear ones suck and will get blown out easily. There practically free, why won't she buy you more? they even give them away with batteries now...really any ones will do.
