What can I do to treat my keratosis pilaris (KP) that is cheap?

  1. Start by using a mild exfoliating cleanser (use something for your face, not your feet) on the area you have the bumps. Don't use a loofah or hard sponge. Those things sit in your shower and collect bacteria. Bacteria thrives in warm, damp conditions (like a shower).

    While your skin is still damp, apply a moisturizer containing Alpha Hydroxy (Roc, Jason's). Try to apply the moisturizer twice a day, once after a shower, the other time just hold a warm, damp washcloth on your arm for a minute and then apply the moisturizer. Try not to wear anything really tight around your arms.

    If this doesn't help, or you have a really bad case a doctor can prescribe a glycolic gel.


  2. Use SA ointment 6%,if not able to find use whitfield ointment.Both are very cheap
