Awesome Style and Pretty Pictures :D

I was wondering the same thing.. like "How should I update my look?"

I guess I'm going to look for old jewelry, like stuff my mom or grandma used to wear as kids,

Also take big t-shirts and sew them in a little bit on the inseam to make them tighter or and funky designs to them and whatnot..

Maybe try some fun colored eyeshadows and eyeliners.

Like purple eyeshadow and gold eyeliner on the top and bottom lids

or Green eyeliner and Blue eyeshadow!

You hair is really pretty and it looks like you can do alot to it!

I would grow it out long, that would look pretty!!!

first of all. i think you are a beautiful girl! you are very exotic looking and have some great natural features that you could play up even more! you eyes for example are beautiful and lots of girls would kill to have nice, full lips like yours. if you want some tips, here's some things...

1) your hair is great! dont try to straighten it. curly headed girls always want straight hair and vice versa. i think the most important thing about beauty/fashion is working with what you've got and not trying to imitate other people. you have highlites right? try nto to go so different than your own hair color. highlites are supposed to be something light and natural looking. i think if you wanted to get a dark blonde or deep reddish that would be better than what you have now. but your hair is great at its natural color too. the more you color it, the more it will get frizzy and unhealthy. try some hot oil treatments and heavy conditions to help keep it healthy and give it some shine. also i would wear my hair up soemtimes- in just a causual lose way. hair is more manageable that way and tends not to frizz up as bad. up-dos are generally more slimming for people's faces anwyays.

2) dont use too much makeup! young girls with too much makeup (especially face makeup) look trashy and hard. if you want, use a simple light or transluscent powder just to keep shine down. i know i used to get shiny especially at your age. then i would use a light pink toned blush (preferrably a cream blush) and put it slightly on the apples of your cheeks. blend it in and dont let it look too dark. use some lighter eye shadows, but nothing too "stark" nice, slightly shiny pastels would be nice for your coloring. pink, browns, beige, etc. mascara would look great on you but make sure you dont put too much on and get it clumpy. i think your eyes are your best features and you shoudl try to play them up as much as possible without going overboard. Just PUHLEASE dont do heavy eyeliner!!!! Stay away form liquid liners and black colors right now. You're too young for them and they will just make you look hard. Try a soft brown color or grayish-blue in a pencil.

3) for lipstick, id do a pale pink matte color with a slightly shiny lip balm on top to help seal in color and make it last longer.

4) your clothes are fine, but i think with your hair and exotic features, you would look really cute in like a bohemian/hippy look with some bright colors. you're adorable so just make sure you wear clothes that fit your body and not just what everyoen thinks is in style. jewle colors on you woudl be gorgeous (bright yellows, pinks, purples, etc)

5) my favorite fashion is my jewelry. my jewlery is unique and adorable! people always compliment me on my clothes and outfits and say they always look so pulled together! my secret? the right jewlery! it doesnt have to be expensive but try some dangling earrings and bold necklaces. i think that wuld be great on you. accesories really make the outfit in my opinion. scarfs, headbands, clips, shoes, belts, purses... everything helps! :)

true fashion is being able to wear what YOU like and having the confidence that it's great... not just wearing cookie cutter outfits that every girl in your school has and models every day with no imagination. dont be afraid to be different! some people may raise their eyeborws, but most girls would just be jealous you look different and dont try to be the A&F" girl like every other teenager in this world.

If youw ant to know what I mean about bohemian, here's a few outfits I think would be so adorable on you! layers are good. good fashion to me is about texture and depth. add a cute jacket to your normal  jeans and t-shirt outfit, etc. add a colroful scarf with yoru jeans. different things.

Just rememebr... above everything BE YOURSELF! Do not be afraid to be different! Do not be ashamed if you dont look like the models in Seventeen. You are unique and beautiful and special.... that is your advantage over everyone else. There is no one else like you on this earth!!! :)

most importantly... have fun! your body is like a canvas and you can try all types of clothes, all styles. dont be held down to just "one style" some days im hippy, some days im preppy, some days im atheletic. but every day.... i'm me!

dont try to be too s**y. be age-appropriate (and i agree... lose the faces. you look like you're trying to hard to be hot and s**y, when in fact you are beautiful and should be happy to be innocent and at this age!) what i wouldnt give to go back to those fresh faced innocent looking days when hardly any makeup was required! lol
