Do you mean he/she is asking questions that he/she already knows the answers to? Your question is unclear. Perhaps he/she forgot the answer. Or perhaps he/she is trying to see if you will tell the truth. Or perhaps he/she is trying to find out if you know an alternate answer. Could be a lot of reasons.

Maybe he is unsure, or maybe he is trying to make a point? I would just answer him and keep thinking "I will have his job one day if he is this stupid".

Answer the question honestly reguardless of whether or not your manager already knows the answer.
