  1. Study the lines, "would you like fries with that", "welcome to [insert business name] how can I help you today", "thank you for calling [insert business name] may I have the catalog numbe, pleaser", or "can I supersize your order for you". At the bachelors level your options with a history degree is quite limited and teaching at the secondary level (junior high / high school) is the only viable option. If you did get a masters then it is possible you could potentially work at a museum, teach at the univeristy level, and potentially do some research. Again options are fairly limited and even with a PhD in history the only option is teaching at the university level but at least with a PhD you could make full professor.

My advice is simple if you are not willing to do a double major with history and something practical like business then the onthing history degree prepares you to do besides teaching is prepareing you for a job in the service sector.

  2. you know having a history degree is very difficult. You can also write when you finish it beside of being a teacher. i have no idea about what are the other job suited to you. just focus in one profession.

  3. work in a museum.
