I am thinking about going to school for 2 more years. Afer this year, I will have an assoicate in business and an economics minor. I am going to go one more year after that, what do you think I should add to that? Maybe a minor in finance? I don't want to get a BA. I heard that it is sometimes better to get minors that are contrasting e.g. like a music minor. I don't know. I am guessing finance is pretty hard, but is it harder than econ?

  1. Get the BA! No questions about it. Your young, two years of your life are insignificant. You have all the time in the world to work. It will be worth it throughout your entire life.

  2. Hmm, Penn State's a pretty good school, so you should be able to get a decently paying job...you might have trouble with promotions, but you also could go back and get a BA.

I think that contrasting minors are more important for four year degrees, and it would probably pay off more to get something more related to your intended field.  Finance or econ would both be good, but accounting, if you're interested in it, probably has more opportunities.

    That's just my opinion, lol
