Question:

What can I do with all my baby blankets?

I am cleaning out my closets for the winter, and I realized that I have about 15 baby blankets for my daughter. They are not receiving blankets, they are like crib blankets. We will not even use half that many. But, I am loathe to part with any of them because they were given to us by members of our church.

Should I quit being so sentimental and donate them, or is there a better way to keep the keepsake?

  1. See if there are other soon-to-be mothers in your church and donate the blankets to them.

I got a wonderful blanket from a friend for my son.  Her mother crocheted it and I was attached to it, too.  But  Mary's mother died before her son was born, so I packed up the blanket and shipped it off to Australia so her son would have something from his grandma.

More blessed to give.. and I am still attached to the blanket, just in a long distance way.

  2. If they are thin blankets then try cutting them into squares and making a quilt out of them that way YOU can use it but it will also hold memories i wish you the best of luck :)
