Question:

What can I do with all my empty shell casings?

I love to target practice with my 9mm so I have a lot of empty brass shell casings. I do not want to reload them because it takes time and I just don't feel like it, so is there anything I can do with the casings such as sell them as scrap brass, or should I just throw them away?

  1. Bag them up and put them in your local classifieds and sell them to someone who is an avid re loader i would say you could get somewhere around 4-5 dollars per 100 about a nickle a piece.

you can also check with local pawn shops or a shooters supply  they sometimes buy brass

  2. Bag 'em up and sell them on gunbroker.com.

  3. Sell as scrap but you won't get much.

All sorted out by caliber, you could offer them for sale to reloaders on gunbroker or post fliers at the range or local gun shops. Time, effort and packaging but ten times the returns.

If you toss them you are throwing money away.

I'm always looking for good clean 45ACP.

  4. If you are shooting at a range there is usualy a bucket somewhere.

  5. Check with the range where you practice, there is at least one hanloader there. Give them a chance at it first.  If you do not use a range, you can find some near you.  Good Luck.

  6. yes you can sell them to a scrap yard as brass

  7. I scrap mine.... There paying over a dollar a pound for this stuff.... After shooting I pick up my brass and any other brass thats left behind...

  8. Check the yellow pages for gun dealers or sporting goods shops who sell guns and see if they have an interest in buying your brass.

  9. my dad said one time that he is going to save the shells and buy the powder and thing to use the shells agian so try that i dont know how but my dad said he will do it
