Question:

What can I do with an Associates in mathematics education?

I'm working towards a masters degree in secondary education (so I can become a high school math teacher) but I am getting an associates degree before I transfer to a university. Are there any job opportunities available to me while I work on my full degree?

  1. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about a Master's Degree.  Work on your BA in math. Usually in a Master's program in any education field, there is an assumption of teaching experience to draw from.

I think that with an Associates Degree you could get a job as a substitute teacher or as a para-professional in a school.
