  1. She is too young to leave alone while you go to work to begin with.  It is against the law for a child under age 14 to be alone all day.  You'd better hope she doesn't get into any trouble while alone or you won't have to worry about what to do with her while you work because CPS will remove her from your home and put her into foster care.

  2. oh my gosh well wow, well then you can drop her off at a families, put her in camp, get her a internship with someone take her to work with you and get her a internship you can take away her privliages like phone, computer,tv,ipod and lock her in the house, yoiu can get her a babysitter, you can also ground her another thing ive done for my 13 year old is get her into a hobby like art or dancing and find a program in which they teach her these thing... good luck

  3. Let her know that staying home by herself while you are at work is a privilege. You are treating her like a mature young lady when you leave her home alone, but when she breaks the rules, she causes you to question whether she should be treated like a young lady...or a little kid.

She has two options, she can either follow the rules (make sure you are very explicit on what the rules are...have them written down and stuck to the fridge or something too), or she can be watched by a babysitter (or a family member, neighbor...if she's 13, she probably wouldn't be a bother).

Chances are, at that age, her behavior will shape up pretty quickly.

  4. Dang. What a brat. Whatever you do keep laying down the law! Or you will be sorry. She yells at you? Dont let her do that to you.
