Question:

What can I do with my new glasses?

I just got my glasses today and I'm having some doubts about it.

I think my glasses are small, but I'm not sure because it's my first time using one.

All I can say is it bends at the hinges every time I wear it.

I'm not sure whether the glasses are designed that way or the "eye size" is too small.

Frame Model: Converse DJ

and if ever the frames are out of size, am I able to return them?

  1. They shouldn't have let you walk out with frames that didn't fit.  Every time I've gotten new glasses, when I went in to pick them up they would have me put them on to check for fit and to see if they needed any adjustments. If they did that with you then you should be fine. If not, go back and explain your concerns

  2. At the time you ordered your glasses, they should have checked to make sure the fit was right for you as well as if the frame would accomodate your prescription.  I would go back and at least talk the your doctor or wherever you ordered from to find out your options.

  3. As long as they are comfortable and you can see out of them then its not really a problem. If the arms bend out to fit around your head, the eye size may be a little small, but if they look good then its not a problem.

    Converse make cool frames!!

  4. If you bought them at Lenscrafters, you can return them within 30 days for any reason.  Otherwise, you should have had a fitting to determine the correct size. That was  your chance to get just what you wanted.  Otherwise, you'll have to buy another pair, because the lenses are cut to fit perfectly with those particular frames.  Try them out for a few more days - they may grow on you!
