What can I do with old, broken couch?

We just bought a new couch that will be delivered in one week. They are not going to take away our old couch, so we have a week to get rid of the old one. We can't fit it in our car and we can't lift it on our own. What are some CHEAP solutions to get rid of it? It is beat up and scratched up and broken so we can't donate it to Goodwill or anything.

How else can we get rid of it CHEAPLY? We are in the Seattle area if that makes a difference.

have u considered giving it away for free on craiglist ? as a pick up only.. thats what i would do

I would put it on Craig's list and say that it is free but that you do not deliver

If you have curbside trash pick up they usually take stuff like that. Some companies like you to call in advance.
