Question:

What can I do with old contact lenses?

I have contact lenses that are still good, but unopened, new, and unused. I just cannot wear them anymore due to not being able to wear contacts anymore (Dr's recommendation) and also my Px being changed. Do you know what I can do? I know though for a fact, that it is against Ebay's laws to sell. Any suggestions?

  6. You can call your local Goodwill or Salvation Army agencies. If they cannot help you, they will know someone who will. If they are able to take your donation, then you will get a receipt for tax purposes. Or, you can call your eye doctor and see what he or she suggests.

  7. you can donate old spectacles through your optometrist - perhaps they may do the same with contacts. wont give you any money but at least they would be useful to someone.
