What can I do with outdated World Book Encyclopedias?

I have a complete set of World Book Encyclopedias from 1973. We would like to somehow donate them to a worthy cause, but most places (like Books for Africa) want reference books that were published in 1995 or later. Does anyone know of an organization or something that could benefit from these? Thanks for the help!

Try some local schools. including private and parochial schools./ Very often they have a limited budget and would grateful for a library addition.

Make them into book cases like this guy did, they look really cool.

try a public library.  homeless shelter if they have kids there. may not be up to date but at least something they might be able to use. call the boys/girls club
