I'm currently almost 21 weeks pregnant and have days where my baby moves constantly and then days where I feel no movement at all. Naturally, it worries me when I don't feel movement. I was just curious if there is anything you can eat or drink to get an active bambino(a)!

  1. your still really early for movements. dont be to worried if you dont feel them everyday. soon enough that baby will be moving around so much ...and by the time its over it hurts when the baby moves. enjoy the time you have now. when i would go in for stress tests and the baby wouldn't be moving they would bring me orange juice. My baby also really liked it when i ate ice cream. Congrats and best of luck.

  2. Drink soda , or stuff with lots of sugar in it

  3. You also have to realise if you drink or eat things to make your baby move more you'll have a higher chance of having a hyperactive baby when it comes out.

Best thing to do is relax lie down on the bed then you'll probably feel it move.

If your mind is occupied on other things you won't feel it

  4. Yep there surely is try drinkin a glass of cold water with ice cubes in it, that always got my bubs wriggling around if that fails ice cold coke is always a winner.

  5. When I was 7 months pregnant the doctor would give me cold juice to get the baby to move during tests since she wouldn't move much.  He said something cold with sugar should help.

  6. When your pregnat babys love the salt that you eat. Try the chips called munchos. they are mad salty. Drink mountain dew and sweet tea mostly milk or water.

  7. I always used orange juice.

And don't believe the 10 kicks a day saying - learn what your baby usually does and then use that as a baseline for any changes.

  8. OJ always makes them move. When I was concerned I would drink some oj and eat a candy bar yeah I know its not good for you but the sugar would make them move!:)

  9. something sweet or a pepsi...I had that problem with my son and would end up in the ER freaking out that he was stillborn...they would give me a Pepsi or Apple Juice/ Orange Juice and hook me up to a monitor......the funny thing is that at age 4 he is still a pretty calm kid...with my daughter, she moved all the time...and she still does! She is a maniac!!!! I love her soooooo much but she is a handful and was the same in the womb! Good Luck....

  10. You are kind of early to feel regular movements but you can try soda or juice to get the baby moving. Anything with a lot of water. It's a lot of fun to drink water or soda before an ultrasound because the baby is active during it and you can see him/her move.

  11. Try and drink icy cold water or drinks because the baby will feel how cold they are and move around.

Also anything with sugar in it can make the baby move too.

Having a full bladder will sometimes force the baby to move because they are not comfortable with your bladder being full.

  12. usually sweet stuffs although i don't recommend that as you run the risk of developing gestational diabetes and harm your baby. I think you meant to feel roughly about 10 movements per 24hours especially when you sit/lie in a quiet place

  13. well im only 13 but my mum told me that when you pregnant you get erges to eat heaps of unusual things. you should probably eat healthy because you baby tends to like the same food as its parents. for exaple, my dad loved milk and my mum loved curries and pupadums at the time (i told you there were urges for unusual foods) and i love both these foods and we have no indian herritage. i dont really know what you can eat to feel it move but that is what you should eat if you are going to have a baby.

AND DONT SMOKE!!! thats really bad for a babies health!!!

i hope this helped answer your question
