  1. idaho potatoes, or sweet potatoes

  2. Shirataki. It's a japanese tofu noodle. It fills you up and almost no calorie (20 calories per serving). You will lose weight like crazy.

  3. if you are looking to cut down starch, eat dark green veggies, and throw in some red ones, too.  Green beans, carrots, red/green peppers, greens, peas, tomatoes, brussels, asparagus, etc.  all depends on your specific needs.  If you eat brown rice, and wild rice(not really rice) you will not get the empty carbs  you get from blanched white rice.

  4. Potatos if you want a starch to replace it with, or veges

  5. potatoes

  6. try steamed veggies or a salad w/ vinegar or lemon (or a very small amount of low fat or lite dressing) that'll help you lose weight.  Plus the fiber will fill you up.  If you're really craving rice or pasta, try switching to brown rice and whole wheat pasta.  Because of the extra protein and fiber, they're a lot healthier than processed white starches plus you'll be satisfied with eating smaller portions.

  7. potatoes (mashed, baked, au gratin, fried), or stuffing............

  8. try couscous or quinoa.

  9. Tofu is a good option.  It absorbs the flavor of whatever you cook it in, so you can get whatever flavor you want that way.

  10. hotwings baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
