  1. lots of your worst nightmares...lol

and a lot of cartoon people

  2. Disneyland has most of the same attractions as Disney World. The only real difference is the size. You can experience Disneyland in a full day, whereas to see Disney World,Epcot Center, and MGM as you know takes many days to take it all in.I lived in Anaheim for two years I am originally from Alabama, and moved back. You might consider taking in KnottsBerry Farm while you are there as well. It has some very good rides, shows, and other attractions, and it is very nearby. As for the people,I found them in general to be very friendly. The weather should be in the lower to mid 80's.More tolerable than August in Orlando which is when I took my last trip to Disney World. The only downside to the LA area is the traffic. If you are renting a car avoid rush hour on the freeway. You will find yourself in stop and go traffic of 8-10 lanes. You need to know your exits well in advance. With the beaches so near, and Big Bear Mountain not far it is a great vacation spot.In traveling to Big Bear, you will go from the coastal grasslands to an Alpine setting with beautiful high waterfalls, and the mountain lake in less than 2 hrs.Have fun! I loved It!

  3. it 'll be fun! and warm not likely to rain... the people in disney land are nice (its the happiest place on earth how could they not be) and out side of disneyland people are just like any other people anywhere else some are cool some suck!

  4. Expect excruciating heat. This time of year California is burning hot. Also be sure to expect long lines at Disneyland, and expect to spend your whole day/night there. ..

  5. i grew up in anaheim..ppl there are like everyone else there are nice ppl and jerks but disneyland is crazy lots of ppl and theres california adventures next door...or u can try knotts berry farm smaller yes but i always have a blast there cuz i dont have to wait in long lines

  6. Expect hot weather, long lines, overpriced things, and screaming kids =P. But you probably know all that cause you've been to Disney World!

Other then that its a fun place to go, wouldn't say its better then Disney World though, Disneyland is smaller. There a few rides that Disney World doesn't have though, like the Indiana Jones ride which is uber fun. If you want you can go check out California Adventure which is right next door to Disneyland

    Have fun!

  7. Disneyland packes twice as many rides as magic kingdom into one park! ITs a load of fun. Make sure to ride indiana jones and the matterhorn because they dont have those in disney world. Also ride pirates, space mountain, and buzz lightyear because those are alot better in DL than in MK

  8. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday, expect long, long, long, long, long lines.

The people are nice, and the weather is better.

And, although Disneyland isn't quite as big as Disney World, it's still a great time.  It's the Happiest Place on Earth, after all.

  9. I've never been to Disney World but I've been to Disneyland 3-4 times.  But as I have heard, Disney World is just a way bigger version of Disneyland.  People I know that have been to DisneyWorld still find Disneyland fun.  I'd say you could get through the whole park in a day (Unless you're planning to go to Disney California Adventures too)

Sure, people are nice in Anaheim.

In a couple of weeks...So say in September?  It might still be hot...really sunny probably, but not too humid.

    Have fun!

  10. um.. i DO NOT think its btter then disneyworld

  11. They have The Matterhorn and Indy, which WDW doesn't.  It's a Small World is bigger here, Pirates is longer and better, Splash Mountain's effects are not as good, Big Thunder isn't as intricately themed, Haunted Mansion doesn't have a library room, and Sleeping Beauty's Castle is smaller than Cinderella's.

All that being said, it's the original, and I love every bit of it.  Tell Mickey I said hello.

  12. I go to disneyland like every other day! It is really nice there, summer is almost ending so less teenagers running around yay! Also the guests at the park are fairly nice, once and a while you get a duzy. The weather good, depending on if you like warm or cool weather. Again summer is almost over so things are starting to cool off a bit here. Just make sure you put the sunscreen on before you arrive at the park. Don't want an unpleasant time. And last but not least! Have a wonderful time at the park and ENJOY yourself [=

Oh yea! and one more thing. When you go to disneyland you have to make sure you get a showtime paper and go see billy hill and the hillbilly's! they are so funny. Have fun on vacation!

  13. not as "WOW!" as disneyworld but still overpriced fun

weather is pretty warm all year round but can get cold at night

    what month are you going?

  14. Disney Land is smaller than Disney World. Its still fun though.

  15. idk but u is lucky to go there lol  you are going to have fun

  16. It'll probably be hot but it's smaller than Disney World.  I don't know how nice the people are.  It's similar to Disney World except less stuff.

  17. They are pretty much the same only Disney Land is smaller. If you like Disney World you will also like Disney Land. You can expect LOTS of people if you are going in the summer.

  18. Long lines and high prices.

You won't meet a lot of people from Anaheim but it's like most semi-urban places. Not super friendly but professionally cordial.

I suggest a Park Hopper pass to go to both parks.

The weather this summer has been hot (80's - lo 100's) and a little humid for the region.  Last week Splash Mountain was closed on a hot day.
