  2. There isn't really a definite answer for this. But if it's anything like my high school, here's what you can expect.

Tall, grumpy people who will run into you in the halls and not care.

Teacher who seem nice the first few days, but end up being the total opposite.

    An awkward first lunch.

    Confusing hall ways

HOMEWORK (yes, in the FIRST week)

Don't get me wrong. It's not just a bunch of negative stuff. But that's the stuff you'll probably notice the most. There are nice people there to help, and teachers who really will be nice, and the hallways won't always be confusing, but those are things to beware of. Expect the unexpected. Highschool can get crazy.

  3. A lot of things on rules, my freshman year we spent the first three days on nothing but rules. Agenda books, paper work usually and well home work. Um... usually have a lot of crowds especially if you live in a small town where kids from 6 different surrounding towns all go to the same school. When you know your classes find a route that you can take so you can get to your locker really easily without being late for your next class and without having to carry a lot of stuff at once. Learn about which teachers are laid back and which aren't some you can get away with stuff  and others not. Don't stress a lot and don't forget your with a group of kids that are pretty much in the same situation.  Do something that makes you, you if your worried about making friends. Try not to look nervous and expect to run into a lot of people, literally.  If you go to school with people you used to go to school with find them at lunch, it makes that easier. Be friendly and smile. Volunteer for a club or sport, something you like. If they can't say your name right don't worry about it at first especially with teachers that have like 120 names to learn. It's good to sit in the middle in a classroom depending on how its set up, just scope out each class the first day and see who you might want to be friends with or who you remember from before.  Most people ignore freshman its not a big deal. I'm a senior and when they make annoncements on something for freshman my English teacher makes the comment, you interupt my class for people that don't exsist. I've been there, we have to deal with it.Just remember in three more yrs you will rule that school.  Now that I look back my freshman year was partly a blur, Be yourself and be sure to study. It will only get harder in someways and Way easier in others. Good Luck You'll survive, I promise!

P.S I love your display name "Kaylen" Cause My name Is Kaylynn ^_^

  4. well, i am going into high school September 2nd, so i am not too sure. But my brother and sister went to high school and they gave me some ideas; there are lots of kids, and the classes are very different. So, don't expect to have the same grades or friends you do because everything will get a lot harder!

  5. I barely remember my first week but i know it wasn't nearly as bad as i expected.  I can remember being so scared and excited and nervous that i would get lost and that people would make fun of me but it turned out to be completely normal.  The teachers were very nice but also made it clear this was high school now.  they were right, a TON different from middle school.  so much more free and mature.  the only thing i can remember being upset about is how much the upperclassmen would call us "stupid freshman".  but hey, they were freshman once too! i'm going to be a junior now and i can remember freshman year being one of the best years because everything is so new and fun!  ENJOY IT :)
