What can I expect on my first day of high school?

Expect to be nervous... Be very friendly and meet as many new people as possible.. ohh and dont forget to stay out of the way of the seniors, and believe me you'll know which ones they are.. they act like they own the school and i guess to an extent they do... Good luck sweetie

Less rules then middle school. Have classes with all grades a lot so you meet people that you wouldn't otherwise. More homework. More clubs & teams. If your a boy expect to be hassled for being a freshman. You can get away with a bunch the first & second week of school, just blame it on not knowing because your a freshman. It's not anything to stress about really. High school is really really easy, you only have to do the bare minimum to do good.

expect a rush of excitement, only to find that it's still school.  oh good tip: MEET AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN.  The more people you meet the first day, the more fun you'll have.  Just be fun, be social, be yourself.  Talk a lot.  Alright thats all i've got, cheers and good luck.

Expect no one to really pay attention to you.

It's pretty mellow. No one really cares what you dress like, look like, who you hang with, etc. as much as they do in middle school.
