What can I expect to happen in Spain?

I am soon going to Barcelona and Madrid for a couple of week's worth of backpacker merrymaking - what POSITIVE THINGS can I expect from both cities?

You will be fed too much fabulous food, kept up too late dancing, flirted with by gorgeous Spaniards of both sexes, sunburned on beautiful beaches, swept away by people's courtesy, intelligence  and humor, run over by crazed motorbike drivers, drunk on cheap good wine, and will fall in love with everything and everyone and never want to go home.

definatly visit the fountains. they are brilliant. the nou camp was a bit of a let down tho

Flamenco Show,  Bullfights & San Isidro,  Walking tours,  Museums,  Monuments,  Parks,  Soccer / Football,  See Real Madrid,  Panoramic bus tour,  Nightlife, etc.

Barcelona is fabulous, great for shopping, the indoor market off the top end of Las Ramblas is something to see, the stalls are all laid out beautifully, the walk along Las Ramblas is also great, lots of beautiful buildings. Try to take one of the organised tours to see Gaudi's architecture, the buildings and features from Gaudi are all over, so best to take a tour.

if in barcelona go to the magic fountains they are amazing. i only spent a day there but i went to the nou camp and the aquarium as well . wonderful city.
